KOMBAT Kobalt Short Tights: control, support and zero chafing
In contact training, what you wear underneath matters more than it seems. These short boxing tights are built for high-friction sessions and pace changes: clinch, ground work, defense, strikes and transitions. The goal is simple: move freely with steady support—without the fabric bunching up, riding up or irritating your skin.
Why they work for combat sports
1) Keeps muscles “ready”
Compression helps maintain a more stable temperature feel—useful when you train in cooler rooms or with A/C and switch from rest to intensity in seconds.
2) Reduces friction on mats and in clinch
In grappling or when training against a gi/opponent’s clothing, constant friction can punish your skin. These tights help minimize abrasion and reduce typical irritation around the thighs and groin during long sessions.
3) Moves with you, not against you
The 75% polyester / 25% spandex blend delivers 4-way stretch so you can open the hips, lift the knee, change levels or sprawl without pulling.
Key features
Durable technical fabric (polyester + spandex) made for frequent use.
Sweat management for a drier feel.
Flatlock seams for comfort and less irritation.
Anatomical fit for stable support through hard rounds.
Best for
These combat-sport tights work especially well for:
Boxing (technique, shadowboxing, pads and conditioning)
MMA and Muay Thai
Grappling / ground work as a base layer under fight shorts
Fit & sizing
Tight, compression fit. If you want them snug so they don’t move, choose your usual size. If you prefer less compression, go one size up.
Care (to make them last)
Wash cold or up to 30°C, avoid fabric softener and tumble drying, and air dry.
Support, mobility and protected skin—so you can train contact without distractions.
